1. Quality of Appliances
1.1. All appliances rented from Rentanyappliance.com are reconditioned to a satisfactory condition.
2. Liability and Risk
2.1. The use of the appliance(s) and all aspects of delivery and installation are entirely at the renter’s risk. Rentanyappliance.com accepts no liability or responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever resulting directly or indirectly from the hire, delivery, or use of any appliance hired from Rentanyappliance.com.
2.2. The customer shall fully indemnify Rentanyappliance.com and its agents in respect of any claims by any person whatsoever (including the customer, their servants, agents, or employees) for death or personal injury or damage to property caused by or in conjunction with or arising out of the use of hired items and in respect of all costs and charges arising under statute, common law, or otherwise.
3. Ownership
3.1. The appliance remains the property of Rentanyappliance.com at all times from the commencement of the contract.
4. Payment and Deactivation
4.1. In the event of failing to pay the rent for the appliance(s) or theft of the appliance(s), they will be remotely deactivated.
4.2. If payments fail to process and the appliances, such as a refrigerator or freezer, are subsequently turned off, Rentanyappliance.com cannot accept responsibility for the contents inside. It is the renter's responsibility to manage their account and ensure payments are up to date using the app provided.
4.3. Any arrears over £65.01 will result in the appliance not being reactivated.
4.4. All arrears will be passed on to the debt collection team and may incur other costs and possible County Court Judgment (CCJ).
5. Appliance Use
5.1. Rentanyappliance.com strongly recommends that appliances are not used unattended or overnight. Care should be taken with dryers to remove lint from the filter between every use.
6. Damage and Recovery Costs
6.1. If the appliance is damaged beyond repair due to the actions of the renter or cannot be retrieved from the property due to non-payment, Rentanyappliance.com has full permission to take full payment from the bank account provided to recover the cost of the appliance.
7. Termination
7.1. If the renter wishes to end the agreement before the initial twelve-month period, one month's notice and a termination payment fee of £50 are required, and Rentanyappliance.com will collect the appliance.
8. Exchange of Appliance
8.1. Rentanyappliance.com reserves the right to exchange the product for an alternative appliance with prior notification to the renter.
